| Lenovo’s Legion 5i Gen 11 offers a choice of two Intel Panther Lake processors. |
In a move that’s flown somewhat under the radar, Lenovo has begun rolling out its latest mid-range gaming contender, the Legion 5i Gen 11, across Europe. This follows the company’s earlier indication of an April launch in North America, marking a quiet but significant refresh of its popular Legion 5 lineup.
The new model brings a fundamental architectural shift, moving from Intel’s previous Arrow Lake-HX processors to the newer Panther Lake-H series, headlined by the Core Ultra 7 356H or Core Ultra 9 386H. In a curious spec adjustment for the base model, Lenovo has paired this new silicon with a slightly less powerful GPU, stepping down to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 from the Gen 10's RTX 5070 in comparable configurations.
The most dramatic upgrade, however, is front and center. The Legion 5i Gen 11 now features a breathtaking 15.3-inch OLED display boasting a sharp 2560x1600 (1600p) resolution, a blazing-fast 165 Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 1,000 nits. The taller 16:10 aspect ratio provides more vertical space for both gameplay and productivity, making this one of the most compelling screens in its class.
Modern connectivity is covered with Wi-Fi 7 support, while internals include DDR5-5600 RAM and M.2 2242 storage. An 80 Wh battery rounds out the core specs, aiming to balance performance with some degree of mobility.
Pricing and Configuration: A La Carte Style
The Legion 5i Gen 11 has appeared on Lenovo’s European storefronts with a starting price of £1,650 in the UK and €1,729 in the Eurozone. Potential buyers should note a couple of key details: this entry price does not include a Windows operating system or a 245W power supply. The base configuration nets you the Core Ultra 7 356H, RTX 5060, 16GB of RAM, a 1TB SSD, and a single-zone RGB keyboard.
For those looking to max out the specs, the configurator offers plenty of headroom. You can check out the available options directly on Lenovo’s regional sites: Lenovo Germany, Lenovo Ireland, or Lenovo UK. A fully-specced model with the Core Ultra 9 386H, 32GB RAM, a 24-zone RGB keyboard, the 245W adapter, and Windows 11 Pro can push the price to approximately £2,209 or €2,339.
This launch strategy suggests Lenovo is targeting enthusiasts who prioritize the latest CPU architecture and a top-tier OLED display, while offering flexibility in how users budget for the OS, power brick, and RAM or storage upgrades. It remains to be seen how this configuration and pricing model will be received when it hits the North American market.
