| Acer TravelMate P2 / P4 2026 lineup |
In a significant move for the business laptop market, Acer has officially unveiled its latest generation of TravelMate devices, purpose-built for the AI era. The new TravelMate P4 14 AI, P4 Spin 14 AI, P2 14 AI, and P2 16 AI are the company's first Copilot+ PCs in this lineup, powered by Intel's brand-new Core Ultra Series 3 processors with integrated Intel vPro technology.
This refresh marks a major step forward for Acer's enterprise-focused series, promising a blend of next-level performance, enhanced security, and intelligent features designed for the modern, hybrid workforce. From a sleek, redesigned chassis to cutting-edge connectivity, these new laptops are built to handle demanding workflows while keeping data secure and users connected.
Built for the AI-Powered Workplace
At the heart of all four new TravelMate models lies the latest silicon from Intel: the Core Ultra Series 3 processors with Intel vPro. This combination is crucial for business users. The Core Ultra chips bring a dedicated Neural Processing Unit (NPU) to the table, enabling advanced on-device AI capabilities without sacrificing battery life. This makes them fully compliant with Microsoft's Windows Copilot+ standard, unlocking features for real-time collaboration, content creation, and workflow automation directly on the laptop.
The inclusion of Intel vPro technology adds an essential layer of enterprise-grade security and manageability. IT departments can remotely manage, update, and protect fleets of devices, making these TravelMates a robust and secure choice for organizations of all sizes.
TravelMate P4 Series: Premium, Portable, and Powerful
The standout models in this launch are undoubtedly the TravelMate P4 14 AI and the TravelMate P4 Spin 14 AI. Acer has completely redesigned their chassis, opting for a premium aluminum build that is both thinner and lighter than the previous generation. The result is a stunningly portable device; the standard P4 14 AI weighs just 1.19 kg, making it one of the lightest in its class.
Both P4 variants offer impressive flexibility for productivity. They can be configured with stunning IPS displays, available in either 1920 x 1200 or a sharper 2880 x 1800 resolution. For users who need to connect to multiple monitors, the integrated dual USB-C (Thunderbolt 4) and HDMI ports support triple external 4K displays.
The TravelMate P4 Spin 14 AI adds a layer of versatility as the only convertible model in the new lineup. Featuring a 360-degree hinge and a vibrant touchscreen, it seamlessly transforms from a laptop into a tablet or presentation device. It also includes a convenient garaged stylus, perfect for taking notes or sketching ideas on the go. Security and ease-of-use are covered with an integrated fingerprint sensor and a backlit keyboard on both P4 models.
TravelMate P2 Series: The Perfect Balance of Endurance and Connectivity
For professionals who prioritize all-day battery life and constant connectivity, the TravelMate P2 14 AI and TravelMate P2 16 AI are designed to excel. These models strike a smart balance between high performance and longevity. They feature fast-charging technology that can power the battery up to 80% in just one hour, ensuring minimal downtime.
While their IPS displays are capped at a crisp 1920 x 1200 resolution, they compensate with exceptional flexibility in connectivity. Acer includes an optional LTE module for these two models, allowing users to stay connected with a high-speed internet connection even when Wi-Fi is unavailable or unreliable—a critical feature for field agents and frequent travelers.
Under the Hood: Performance and Connectivity Galore
Across the lineup, Acer is offering a wide range of configuration options to suit various performance needs and budgets.
- Processors: Buyers can choose from a selection of Intel Core Ultra 7 processors (models 365 / 356H / 355) or Core Ultra 5 processors (models 332 / 322). The TravelMate P4 Spin 14 AI has a slightly different configuration, available with Core Ultra 5 335 / 325 chips but omitting the Core Ultra 5 332 option.
- Memory & Storage: All models support a substantial amount of fast DDR5 RAM, going up to 64 GB. For storage, options include speedy 256 GB, 512 GB, and 1 TB PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSDs.
- Connectivity: Future-proofing is a key theme. All four laptops come equipped with Wi-Fi 7 for the fastest wireless speeds and Thunderbolt 4 connectors for high-speed data transfer and peripheral support.
