Russian technology company Yadro has launched the Kvadra NAU LP14, a new 14-inch ultrabook aimed at corporate and government customers. The company is positioning the lightweight laptop as a practical option for organizations that need Russian operating system support, optional 4G/LTE connectivity and business-focused security features. Yadro’s name means “core” in Russian, and the firm is already known for building IT infrastructure hardware. The Kvadra NAU LP14 extends that reach into the client-device market.
Yadro operates within ICS Holding and develops and manufactures IT infrastructure equipment. While it is best known for enterprise hardware such as servers, storage systems and networking gear, its Kvadra brand covers laptops, tablets, PCs, monitors and other business-oriented hardware. The NAU LP14 is the latest addition to that lineup and is clearly aimed at professional users rather than consumers.
A portable design with a sharp 14-inch display
The Kvadra NAU LP14 features a 14-inch IPS display with Full HD+ resolution of 1920 × 1200, a 16:10 aspect ratio, up to 400 nits of brightness and 100% sRGB color coverage. That combination should make it comfortable for everyday office work, document editing, presentations and video calls.
The laptop uses a compact magnesium chassis measuring 313 × 224 × 19 mm. With the standard 55Wh battery, it weighs up to 1.1 kg. Buyers can also choose a larger 73Wh battery, which increases the weight to up to 1.3 kg but extends the claimed battery life from up to 10 hours to as much as 12 hours. For frequent travelers and hybrid workers, that trade-off could be useful.
Intel Meteor Lake performance and flexible memory options
Inside, the mobile PC is based on Intel’s Meteor Lake platform. It will be available with either an Intel Core Ultra 5 125U or a Core Ultra 7 155U processor, and both configurations rely on integrated Intel Arc graphics. The laptop ships with 8GB of soldered DDR5 memory, plus one DDR5 SO-DIMM slot that supports up to 32GB. That allows for a maximum total of 40GB of RAM. Storage is handled through a single M.2 2280 PCIe 4.0 slot, with 256GB, 512GB and 1TB SSD options listed.

Ports, wireless connectivity and webcam options
The NAU LP14 offers a broad selection of ports for such a compact machine. It includes Thunderbolt 4, USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 with Power Delivery, two USB-A 3.2 ports — one Gen 1 and one Gen 2 — HDMI 2.1, a 3.5mm audio jack and a microSD card reader. Wireless connectivity covers Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2, while 4G/LTE is available as an option. The laptop also has a 2MP Full HD webcam, with an optional 5MP Full HD+ camera available.
Software support and enterprise security
The NAU LP14 supports Windows 11 Pro, Astra Linux and Red OS. That makes it relevant for Russian organizations that need flexibility across different software environments. For corporate security scenarios, it includes TPM 2.0 functionality through Intel Platform Trust Technology, intended for protected key storage and system-integrity checks. A Kensington-lock slot is also included, which is a small but important detail for fleet deployments.
Docking station turns the laptop into an office workstation
Yadro also offers the Kvadra DS-Link 10 docking station for the laptop. It supports up to three external displays, provides Gigabit Ethernet and can deliver up to 96W of charging power over USB-C. This allows the NAU LP14 to serve as both a mobile computer and the basis of a fixed office workstation.
Overall, the Kvadra NAU LP14 combines a lightweight magnesium body, a 16:10 Full HD+ display, Intel Core Ultra options, Russian OS support and enterprise security features. For companies and government agencies evaluating new laptop fleets, it is a notable entry in the Russian corporate PC market.
