The upcoming revision of the GeekBook X16 Pro is slated to move away from Intel architecture in favor of AMD’s "Gorgon Point" APUs. While the Ryzen AI 9 HX 470 is noted for having only marginal generational gains over the well-regarded Ryzen AI 9 HX 370, the jump from the current Intel hardware will be substantial for users. When compared to the Core Ultra 9 185H currently housed in the GeekBook X16 Pro, the new AMD silicon is expected to deliver up to a 32% improvement in raw CPU performance.
