| The RTX 5070 Ti, Intel Core 7-powered A16 Pro gaming laptop is now available with a $701 discount. |
Gamers looking for high-end performance without the premium price tag have a compelling option this week.
The Gigabyte Gaming A16 Pro has received a substantial $701 price cut, bringing this RTX 5070 Ti-equipped gaming laptop down to approximately $1,449 at Walmart. This deal represents significant savings on a machine that packs serious hardware into a relatively portable chassis.
Impressive Specs at a Mid-Range Price
The A16 Pro comes loaded with an Intel Core 7 240H processor, 32GB of LPDDR5X-5600 RAM, and 1TB of SSD storage. The 16-inch IPS display delivers a sharp 2560 x 1600 resolution with a smooth 165Hz refresh rate, making it well-suited for both fast-paced gaming and content creation.
According to detailed reviews, the display covers 99.3% of the sRGB color gamut and reaches peak brightness around 517 nits. Color accuracy has received high marks, with reviewers noting no significant complaints about overall display performance.
Performance Trade-offs for Portability
The RTX 5070 Ti with 12GB of GDDR7 VRAM represents a healthy upgrade over non-Ti variants, though benchmark results show the A16 Pro trailing some competitors by roughly 18% compared to bulkier alternatives like the Acer Helios Neo 16S.
The slim chassis design prioritizes portability over maximum performance output. Users who value a lighter, more travel-friendly gaming laptop will appreciate this trade-off, while those seeking desktop-replacement power may want to consider heavier options.
The 10-core Intel Core 7 240H performs comparably to older mid-range mobile CPUs, keeping pace with processors like the Ryzen 7 8745HS. The 32GB of RAM handles multitasking and memory-intensive workloads with ease, though the soldered memory means no future upgrades are possible.
