Saudi AI firm unveils first look at its next-generation AI PC ahead of LEAP 2026 conference
Saudi Arabian artificial intelligence company Humain has offered the public its first proper glimpse of the upcoming Horizon Ultra laptop, teasing the Snapdragon-powered machine ahead of a major reveal at LEAP, the annual technology conference held in Riyadh.
The laptop has reportedly been in development alongside Qualcomm for the past year and could debut with an entirely new operating system designed specifically with agentic artificial intelligence in mind.
Humain had previously confirmed that an Ultra model was in development alongside its Horizon Pro laptop. CEO Tareq Amin stated last year that the device would leverage Qualcomm's Snapdragon X2 platform, and the new teaser now confirms a physical Horizon Ultra bearing a Snapdragon X2 Elite badge. However, the exact processor SKU and configuration details remain undisclosed.
"We've been designing our next-generation AI PC around local AI workloads," Amin explained, noting that Humain and Qualcomm have collaborated extensively to use the processor's CPU, GPU, and NPU to run models directly on the device without relying on cloud connectivity.
According to Amin, however, the hardware itself may not be the most significant aspect of the upcoming product. Instead, Humain appears to be developing an operating system intended specifically for agentic AI — systems capable of autonomous decision-making and goal-oriented behavior.
The teaser shows a relatively understated silver-grey chassis with Humain branding on the lid. The bottom features a large ventilation grille spanning much of the laptop's width, while one side appears to house two USB-C ports and a 3.5 mm audio jack. The device also includes a spacious trackpad and a bilingual Arabic-Latin keyboard.
Perhaps most intriguing is a dedicated key bearing Humain's company logo. While its precise function hasn't been detailed, its placement and the company's emphasis on agentic AI suggest it could provide direct access to Humain's software or AI features — similar to a Copilot button found on Windows devices.
Humain previously stated that the Horizon Ultra would feature always-connected 5G alongside its Snapdragon X2 hardware, though the latest teaser doesn't explicitly show or advertise cellular connectivity. Other specifications, including display, memory, storage, and battery capacity, remain under wraps. Industry observers note that even 64 GB of RAM appears ambitious given current market constraints.
The full reveal is expected at LEAP, where Humain will showcase both the hardware and its new operating system in what could mark a significant shift in how AI-powered personal computing is approached in the region and beyond.
