| Geekom's new 14-inch laptop can now be purcahsed |
Tech enthusiasts, take note: Geekom has officially launched the GeekBook M14 in the United States. This release comes several months after the 14-inch laptop first turned heads at CES 2026, and it’s bringing some serious competition to the mid-range market.
While the initial buzz at CES positioned the M14 primarily as an AMD-powered sibling to the Intel-based GeekBook X series, the production model hitting US shelves tells a slightly different story. Geekom has opted for a dual-platform approach, offering configurations powered by both Intel and AMD processors.
A Tale of Two Processors
The newly published product page reveals two distinct configurations available for purchase right now. On the AMD side, buyers can snag a model featuring the Ryzen 5 220 processor. This chip is a solid performer, boasting six cores and 12 threads (a mix of two Zen 4 and four Zen 4c cores). It boosts up to 4.9 GHz and relies on a four-CU Radeon 740M iGPU, all while maintaining a default 28 W TDP.
If you prefer Team Blue, Geekom is also offering a version equipped with the Intel Core Ultra 5 125U. This Meteor Lake processor is a 12-core beast, featuring two P-cores, eight E-cores, and two low-power E-cores. It tops out at 4.3 GHz and includes a four-Xe-core integrated GPU.
For those looking to dive into the full technical breakdown of these configurations, you can find more details on the official Geekom product page .
Design, Battery, and Connectivity
Beyond the brains of the operation, the GeekBook M14 seems built for portability and endurance. It packs a 72 Wh battery, which Geekom claims can deliver up to 17 hours of runtime, paired with a 100 W USB-C PD charger for quick top-ups.
The laptop features "IceBlade 3.0" cooling technology, utilizing two fans and two heat pipes. According to the specs, the M14 can sustain up to 35 W under load, suggesting decent thermal management for a chassis that weighs just 1.4 kg and measures 16.8 mm thick.
Connectivity is robust, featuring a USB 4 40 Gbps port, a full-function USB-C port, HDMI 2.0, two USB 3.2 Type-A ports, and a 3.5 mm audio jack. It also supports Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.4. For security and convenience, there is a fingerprint reader, a 1080p webcam, and a 180-degree hinge. Geekom even includes a docking station in the box.
Specs and Pricing
The GeekBook M14 features a 14-inch 16:10 display, though the official spec sheet currently contains a few contradictory details (listing M16 specs), leaving the exact resolution unconfirmed for now.
Regarding pricing:
- AMD Ryzen 5 220 (16 GB RAM / 256 GB SSD): $999
- Intel Core Ultra 5 125U (16 GB RAM / 512 GB SSD): $1,199
With its competitive pricing and dual-processor options, the GeekBook M14 is certainly looking to make a splash in the ultrabook market.
